The Yale Literary Magazine is a semesterly publication with poetry, prose, and artwork submitted by undergraduate students. As the designer for this issue, I explored the concepts of revealing the process of design. By using translucent paper and printing the hidden characters of a digital editing program, I hoped to highlight the beauty in both the writing and design.
This issue was typeset in Janson and printed in an edition of 600 copies on Rolland Enviro 100% Post-Consumer paper and Glama Natural Translucent paper in Pastel Pink. Special thanks to the editor-in-chief Tom Cusamo and managing editors Bix Archer and Allison Primak.
The whole issue can be found online here.
